Appointed as a new MP for Bishop Hogarth Catholic Education Trust.
Representing Our Lady and St. Bede Catholic Academy.
On Wednesday 10th January every school in the Bishop Hogarth Catholic Education Trust was represented by one pupil from each of our thirty-five schools to become the founding members of our new Trust Pupil Parliament.
This special day began with prayer and the swearing in of our new Trust MP’s who were given a beautiful certificate as part of their commitment to be the first members of our Pupil Parliament. It also included Icebreakers, group discussions and the structure of how parliament works.
Pupils were given the opportunity to get to know each other throughout the day and further sessions will be taking place to see how we can work more closely together, share ideas and plan for whole trust events.
We are so, so proud of Michael Anthony and look forward to the discussions we will be having in school.
