At Our Lady & St. Bede's Catholic Academy, we were honoured to take part in a truly significant Diocesan event—the Visit of the Papal Nuncio. Thirteen of our Key Stage 3 students joined Bishop Stephen Wright and Fr Cooper for this special occasion, representing our school with pride and reverence.
Meeting Archbishop Miguel Maury Buendía, the Pope’s ambassador to Great Britain, was an unforgettable experience for our students. This encounter served as a powerful reminder of our deep connection to the Universal Church and the global Catholic community.
Our students demonstrated outstanding respect and enthusiasm throughout the visit, making this a proud moment for the entire Our Lady & St. Bede’s family. Their participation reflects our commitment to nurturing faith, leadership, and a sense of belonging within the wider Church.
