A Reflective Evening of Faith and Formation
Staff at Our Lady & St Bede Catholic Academy in Stockton came together this evening for a powerful and spiritually enriching Catholic Life CPD session as we begin to prepare for the season of Lent - a time of reflection, renewal, and action.
Our Faith Leaders opened the session beautifully, guiding everyone in prayer and reminding us that faith formation is something we journey through as a community, supporting one another along the way.
Deepening Understanding Through CAFOD and CST
We were delighted to welcome Kirstie from CAFOD, who led us through an engaging and thought‑provoking exploration of CAFOD’s global mission and the principles of Catholic Social Teaching.
Through discussions, activities, and moments of reflection, staff deepened their understanding of how our faith calls us to solidarity, compassion, and justice.
Rooted in the Message of Fratelli Tutti
The session was firmly grounded in the message of Fratelli Tutti, reminding us that we are truly one human family, called to walk with others - especially the most vulnerable.
It was a thoughtful, faith‑filled evening that has helped prepare our hearts as we journey towards Lent together.
